Before confirming your booking, please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully, as they govern all Chardham Yatra packages offered by our agency.
By making a booking with Religious Tour and Travel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after the required advance payment or full payment (as applicable) has been received by Religious Tour and Travel.The balance payment must be cleared before the commencement of the tour, as communicated during the booking process.Prices are subject to change until the booking is confirmed.Every traveler must provide accurate personal information required for travel arrangements and government registrations.
2. Package Inclusions
The package includes only those services specifically mentioned in your confirmed itinerary, which may include:
- Accommodation
- Transportation
- Sightseeing as per itinerary
- Driver allowances, toll taxes, and parking charges
- Meals (if included)
- Assistance during the journey
Any service not specifically mentioned in the package inclusions shall be treated as an additional expense.
3. Package Exclusions
Unless specifically mentioned, the package does not include:
- Airfare or train tickets
- Personal expenses
- Laundry services
- Telephone charges
- Travel insurance
- Medical expenses
- VIP Darshan charges
- Pony, Palki, Porter, or Helicopter services (unless included)
- Entry fees to monuments or attractions
- Camera or video charges
- Additional meals
- Tips and gratuities
- Expenses caused by weather conditions, landslides, road closures, natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions
4. Travel Documents
Travelers are responsible for carrying valid identity documents required by government authorities, including:
- Aadhaar Card
- Passport (for foreign nationals)
- Voter ID
- Driving Licence
- Any other government-approved photo identification
Failure to produce valid identification may result in denied travel or entry, for which Religious Tour and Travel shall not be held responsible.
5. Health & Fitness
The Chardham Yatra involves travel through mountainous terrain and high-altitude regions.
Every traveler should:
- Ensure they are medically fit for the journey.
- Consult a qualified doctor before travelling, especially if suffering from heart disease, asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes, or other serious medical conditions.
- Carry sufficient personal medicines for the duration of the trip.
Religious Tour and Travel shall not be responsible for any health-related complications during the tour.
6. Itinerary Changes
The published itinerary is subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control, including:
- Weather conditions
- Heavy rainfall
- Landslides
- Road blockages
- Traffic restrictions
- Government regulations
- Temple authority decisions
- Natural disasters
- Political unrest
- Force majeure events
Our tour manager will make every reasonable effort to provide suitable alternatives wherever possible.
7. Accommodation
- ✨Hotels are allocated based on availability and package category.
- ✨In exceptional situations, Religious Tour and Travel reserves the right to provide equivalent or similar accommodation without prior notice.
- ✨Hotel check-in and check-out timings are governed by the respective hotel’s policies.
8. Transportation
- Vehicle allocation depends on the package selected and group size.
- Passengers are expected to follow the driver’s instructions and maintain discipline during the journey.
- No refunds shall be provided for unused transportation services.
9. Helicopter Services
If helicopter services are included or booked separately:
- Operations are completely subject to weather conditions and permissions issued by aviation authorities.
- Delays, cancellations, or rescheduling are beyond our control.
- Refunds for helicopter tickets shall be governed by the helicopter operator’s cancellation and refund policies.
10. Passenger Responsibilities
All travelers are expected to:
- Follow local laws and regulations.
- Respect religious customs and traditions.
- Maintain cleanliness at pilgrimage sites.
- Protect the environment.
- Follow safety instructions issued by authorities.
- Carry valid identity proof throughout the journey.
Any misconduct causing inconvenience to fellow travelers may result in termination of services without refund.
11. Limitation of Liability
Religious Tour and Travel acts as a travel organizer and coordinator.
We shall not be held liable for:
- Flight or train delays
- Road closures
- Landslides
- Floods
- Earthquakes
- Weather disruptions
- Government restrictions
- Pandemics
- Civil disturbances
- Accidents
- Loss of baggage
- Theft of personal belongings
- Medical emergencies
- Service failures by third-party providers
Any additional expenses arising from such events shall be borne by the traveler.
12. Force Majeure
Religious Tour and Travel shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or additional expenses resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Heavy snowfall
- Floods
- Landslides
- Earthquakes
- Political unrest
- Curfews
- Government restrictions
- Epidemics or pandemics
- Transport strikes
- Acts of God
13. Cancellation Policy
If a traveler wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, the following cancellation charges shall apply based on the total package cost:

✨Please note:
- The booking date will not be considered; only the scheduled departure date will be used to calculate cancellation charges.
- Any non-refundable booking components, including permits, registration fees, helicopter tickets, hotel deposits, or transportation reservations, will be deducted in addition to the applicable cancellation charges.
14. Refund Policy
Refunds, where applicable, shall be processed under the following conditions:
- Eligible refunds will be processed after deducting applicable cancellation charges and non-refundable expenses.
- Refunds will be made using the original mode of payment whenever possible.
- Processing time is generally 7 to 21 working days, depending on banking procedures and third-party supplier settlements.
- No refund will be provided for:
- Unused services.
- Missed departures.
- Late arrivals.
- Voluntary withdrawal from the tour after commencement.
- Early termination of the trip by the traveler.
- Refunds for services cancelled due to weather conditions, road closures, natural disasters, or government restrictions will depend on the refund policies of the respective service providers, including hotels, transport operators, and helicopter companies.
15. Price Changes
Package prices are based on prevailing costs at the time of publication.
Religious Tour and Travel reserves the right to revise package prices due to:
- Fuel price increases
- Government taxes
- Entry fee revisions
- Supplier cost changes
- Currency fluctuations (where applicable)
Any revised pricing will be communicated before final confirmation.
16. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that every traveler purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Medical emergencies
- Trip cancellation
- Personal accident
- Baggage loss
- Emergency evacuation
- Travel delays
Travel insurance provides valuable protection during pilgrimage journeys.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of India. Any disputes arising from bookings made with Religious Tour and Travel shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts where the agency’s registered office is located.
